WU WEI
Tom intuited this name for this creation made for our Tai Chi & Qigong practice.
This blend is a synergy of essential oils of Clementine, Litsea Cubeba, Balsam Fir, Elemi,
Clary Sage, Pink Grapefruit, Hyssop, Jasmine, Cypress, Amni Visnaga & Ambrette in a Frankincense Hydrosol base. The intention is for purifying the Air as we enter
into a space of embracing & acknowledging our “Chi”. We may mist the surrounding area &
ourselves with this formulation; thus allowing us to enter into that Spiritual & Sacred
place of these combined aromatic plant energies.
The botanical attributes contained here are many as are the ways we embrace wholistic wellness. The Plants Aromatic personality will represent their higher Soulful purpose & assist with our connection to “feel” the intention & guidance that they offer. Also, these essences will diminish airborne bacteria on a scientific & biological level.
Wu Wei is an important concept in Taoism that literally means non-action or non-
doing. In the Tao te Ching, Lao Tzu explains that all phenomena exists in a purely natural
way. True Spiritual practice for human beings is existing in Harmony & in tune with the
Universe. Our movements are natural & will become effortless & spontaneous.
{Wu may be translated as not have or without; Wei may be translated as do, act, serve
as, govern or effort. The literal meaning of wu wei is "without action", "without effort",
or "without control.}
Dr Wong (Mimi) explained that this also refers to the 5 Elements.
