This synergy of pure essential oils will enhance wellness as it scents the atmosphere with its uplifting aroma. It is intended to be diffused into the atmosphere & not to be placed directly onto the skin! I came up with the term and title of “Protective Place” for this historically based formulation. This is the only recipe that I have adapted to my botanical blends. The essential oils are the ones derived from the ancient formulation of what was termed as “thieves’ oil”. In the medieval days the herbs were placed in beakers worn to cover the nose to elicit their aromatic traits directly into the olfactory system, just as the inhalation of real aromatherapy does in this day. The differences are that the essential oils are mainly steam distilled and also cold expeller expressed to yield their aromatic traits. I chose to name this mixture “Protective Place” that name reveals its purpose. Breathing in the volatile essential oils will allow the membranes to absorb the varied attributes via the respiratory system, the nervous system, the lymphatic system, therefore affecting the body as a whole.

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus): Respiratory tonic, antiseptic, antiviral, depurative
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinale): Stimulating restorative, antimicrobial parasitic
Lemon (Citrus limon): Refreshing antiseptic, bactericidal insecticidal tonic
