This is a very rich and nutritious substance containing a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids: gamma linolenic acid (GLA). These seeds are well known for stimulating prostaglandin production which assists with hormonal balance. These seeds are a supportive agent for mucosa protection with restorative and immune enhancing qualities.
A 5%-10% used in combination with another base such as jojoba is recommended.
